The Mathematics Department at St. Francis DeSales High School supports the Vision Statement of DeSales High School by striving for excellence in mathematics education through cooperative and collaborative efforts between students and staff.

The goals of the Mathematics Department are to assist students in being able to:

1. Be successful in college-credit mathematics courses.

2. Incorporate technology in both daily teaching and learning practice.

3. Think precisely and critically and to apply the principles of mathematics and problems solving into their daily lives.
