Course Selection Guide
The DeSales learning community seeks
to nurture the unique talents and abilities of its members by
providing a variety of learning experiences both in and out of the
classroom.
DeSales takes pride in its
Teach-nology initiative, which purposefully integrates technology
into the teaching-learning process.
Immersion Week offers
students experiences outside the classroom to show that learning is a
life-long process that happens in a variety of settings. Each of
our three Programs of Study
is designed to provide students with courses that challenge and
complement their abilities and interests.
DeSales also supports students' needs
through its Counseling and Guidance
offices, which provide college guidance, career planning, and personal
counseling. Students who need additional academic help can take
advantage of the Learning
Resources office, which supports especially those who have
been identified with
a wide-range of disabilities.
The
Faculty and Staff at DeSales help foster an educational
environment that is both challenging and supportive. With a
student-teacher ratio of 11:1, DeSales High School is a close-knit and
personal community where each member of the community is considered a
unique part of the DeSales Family.
