School
The Shadow Day at DeSales is an important experience
for students as they discern their high school choice. See how
DeSales High School offers the most personal, individual-focused
high school experience that so many students prefer.
The Shadow Day allows visiting 7th and 8th grade
students to accompany a freshman or sophomore through a regular
school day. The shadower actively participates in all of the classes
and activities of his shadowee. A folder, pen, and paper are given
to the shadow to assure they have materials for the day. Lunch is
also provided free of charge.
Students who shadow are asked to dress in the
appropriate DeSales dress code. DeSales prefers that the shadow
choose a day that his school is not in session so as not to
interfere with his own academic work.
