DeSales Wrestlers Advance to State Competition
February 13, 2010 - DeSales sophomore wrestler Trevor Ford was named Region 3 Most Valuable Wrestler after pinning three opponents in a total of 79 seconds on his way to the heavyweight region title Saturday at DeSales.  Ford capped his performance by pinning Jeremy Glass of Holy Cross in 40 seconds. His other pins came at 0:16 and 0:23.

Congratulations to Trevor and to junior Zach Goldsmith, who placed fourth in the 135 division.  Both advanced to the state tournament Saturday at the Frankfort Convention Center in Frankfort, KY.
